    An Exceptionally Fine and Rare Victorian Double Snake Motif Pendant/Brooch
    Designed as two opposed but entwined writhing snakes in 15ct yellow gold/silver doublet set with old cut diamonds to an articulated finial drop set with a pear shaped diamond. The eyes set with round cut green garnets, their open mouths clasping a central oval cut pink sapphire of around 2ct. The pendant suspended by twin chains, each enhanced with a collet set diamond at mid-point to the bale set with a further two diamonds. The diamonds 107 in all of sizes and cuts to suit the design have an estimated TDW of approximately 8.95ct. With detachable pin for alternative use as a brooch. With fitted box.
