in blush ivory colours picked out in gilt, featuring a boy holding a bird's nest and girl in 18th century attire beneath gnarled tree trunks, the trees supporting a wicker basket style font, inscribed mark of modeller, Hadley verso, puce backstamp underside with date cipher and pattern number, 1239
