Provenance: Sotheby's London 'Noddy 2,' 24th Nov 1998. Comprising: 'What have you been up to to-day? Asked Mr Plod,' signed 'Beek' and inscribed p. 43 (17.5x12.5cm) image (lot 26); 'Noddy wailed loudly ''but it wasn't my fault'',' (11.5x15cm) sight (lot 28); 'Mrs Tubby-bear, is next door neighbour, stood outside looking most alarmed,' inscribed p.10 (11.5x15cm) sight (lot 4); 'Big-Ears was soon in Noddy's bed' (7.5x11.5cm) sight irreg. (lot 8); and 'Noddy took the song round to Mr and Mrs Tubby,' inscribed p. 29 (11.5x15cm) sight (lot 15). Some browning & discoloration. Original Sotheby's catalogue included.
