Lot Description:Royal Doulton porcelain figure 'Isadora' HN 2938
by Peter A.Gee 1985, in excellent condition measures 20.5cm H x 19cm W -
Notes:This figure was designed as a tribute to Angela Isadora Duncan (decd September 14, 1927) she was an American dancer who performed to great acclaim throughout Europe. Born and raised in California, she lived and danced in Western Europe and the Soviet Union from the age of 22 until her death at age 50 when her scarf became entangled in the wheels and axle of the car in which she was travelling in Nice, France.
