  • Notes:
    Gallé was a deeply religious man, and many of his pieces feature religious symbols. This vase is relief decorated with the Latin words 'Tempus Stellae,' meaning 'time of the star.' The phrase is taken from the story of the arrival of the wisemen in Bethlehem to pay homage to the Christ child. Condition: No chips or cracks evident. Surface scratches to base consistent with age and use.
