  Artists were like moths attracted to light when Lucio Galletto opened his restaurant in Paddington; there they enjoyed his exquisite Ligurian pastas also the totem unfurling of a whole snapper covered with a salt paste as well as his tagliolini with blue swimmer crab – delicious! If that was enough, it was Lucio who conducted his restaurant like a concert of harmony; but it was his generosity to artists that touched heart and stomach and it is that you see on the walls of the restaurant – They are splendid notes of appreciation. The wheels have turned as wheels must, soon it will be over, but the memory of this remarkable person will remain – viva Lucio! John Olsen. 14 January 2021
