  Accompanying certificate of authenticity from Warlayirti Artists reference number 574/90. From the certificate: "The painting shows an area marked by many salt lakes (Ôyaparnu') and clay pans (Ôwarren'). The features of the landscape were formed in the Dreamtime through the activities of Tingari spirit beings. They have left spiritual powers at these places which have big Law and are very sacred to the artist and other senior men. The artist used to camp here when younger prior to white contact and revisits whenever he can."
