Description:This auction represents the highlights of the late Colin Burleigh’s collection of working model steam engines, steam traction and stationary engines. Also included is an American 1950s Luna ride-on rocket ship in working order.
Burleigh, the president of the Model Engineering Association of New Zealand, was a passionate collector and engineer of model railways. Wilesco, Mamod, Marklin and Jensen models are represented in this first offering of his lifetime collection. -
