• Provenance:
  The portrait was drawn by the artist whilst travelling on the TSS Esperance to England in 1923, for George Tyler's honeymoon with his wife, Mary. George and Mary Tyler befriended Lloyd Rees on the voyage.
• Notes:
  Also included in a contemporary photograph of the TSS Esperance, with the signatures of the passengers on the ship, (including the signature of Lloyd Rees), (20cm X 34cm approx), and an embarkation card issued by the Commonwealth Government Line, in the name of G.R. Tyler, for the return voyage.
