Octavo, quarter-vellum over gilt lettered maroon cloth boards, 374pp. Inscribed on front endpaper by Thomas Brassey, the Governor of Victoria, to Florence Neville, on leaving Melbourne, Nov. 23rd 1897, from her good friend and Governor, Brassey. And, DAWSON, W.J. The Making of Manhood, London; Hodder and Stoughton, 1895. Octavo, gilt decorated contrasting morocco and sheepskin with gilt monogram F.N. and date 1897 to upper board, spine with raised bands, all edges gilt, 269 pp.; inscribed on front endpapers by Lady Sybil de V. Brassey, for George Neville, Melbourne, Nov. 18th 1897, with two literary quotes.
