Lot Description:An archaistic celadon jade vase and cover Qing dynasty, 19th century
of oval section, the ovoid body supported on a slightly splayed foot, surmounted by a tall neck above the domed shoulders, and set with double elephant head loose ring handles on a border of pendent blades, the sides carved with horizontal bands of archaic-style motifs in low relief between an incised key fret border around the foot and mouth and repeated on the domed cover, the pale stone with some opaque whitish rivering and small areas of faint russet suffusions, the base incised with an apocryphal four-character Qianlong seal mark, wood stand incised with a four-character mark Ji En Tang Zhi, box (2)
