the famous chocolate manufacturers, who were financial supporters of Scott’s Expedition and also supplied the drinking chocolate, so much appreciated by the expeditioners: “ Members deeply grateful kind message, Commander Evans.” -
Notes:Admiral Edward Ratcliffe Garth Russell Evans [1881-1957], known as “Teddy”, was second in command on the Expedition and captain of the “Terra Nova.”.
