  Purchased by the present owner from Dunbar Sloane, Wellington, 2005. Part of a body of works produced at Mangamahu, Wanganui.
• Notes:
  Clairmont lived in a disused hotel in Mangamahu for 18 months in the early 1980s. He turned a part of the hotel into an art studio and produced a number of paintings while livnig there.
