    GB WWI ROYAL FLYING CORPS LEATHER FLYING Helmet MKI (SUMMER) together with a WWI RFC “Triplex” FWT Model Flying Goggles
    The Flying Helmet has rich supple brown leather with chamois lining and includes complete gosports and leads. The Flying Goggles are metal frames with fabric and fur surrounds, black elastic straps and a pair of unmarked lenses. The lenses are the clear glass model and includes an original Triplex marked case
  • Notes:
    The helmet belonged to Major Frederick Cundiff who came from Manchester, UK. He was transferred from the Army with Seniority as a Lieutenant to the RFC from 17 August 1917 as a Flying Officer.
