    An 1821 pattern cavalry troopers sword
    The blade s in average condition overall, straight, firm in the hilt and with a service sharpened edge that is still quite sharp. There is some corrosion & pitting to the blade The hilt is in a surprisingly good state with the majority of the leather grip still intact. Come with matching scabbard. An increasingly rare example of the sword that replaced the 1796 light cavalry sabre and was used up to and during the Crimean War.
