C - 1858 (July 21) locally used cover addressed to Winter's Flat
Castlemaine, franked with 1d Emblems pair, tied by barred numeral '3' of Castlemaine and 'ADVERTISED / AND / UNCLAIMED' h/stamp, which was in use to 1860. With a dated Castlemaine oval b/stamp. It was a legal requirement that mail sent to goldfield Post Offices for itinerant workers had to be advertised.
