  • Notes:
Launched in 1959 the Mini was designed by Alec Issogonis, an engineer and construction specialist. This design icon stayed in production for over forty years and is one of the most innovative of all vehicles. Paolo Tumminelli describes the Mini as a "spatial miracle" and the most attractive and best mobile package of all time. This 998cc Mini Cooper left the factory on 23rd November 1965, and was sold and delivered in Auckland New Zealand new. With full matching numbers and still wearing the original colour scheme of Tartan Red with a black roof this Mini was fully restored in NZ and very lightly used since. Cars still surviving, with their original numbers and colour schemes are very hard to find, and accordingly are keenly sought not only for their legendary handling and style, but also their simplicity and desirability.
