  31 Cal; 5 shot cylinder with 65% scene; 89mm (3½") rnd barrel struck with London proofs; 2 line New York address; plain frame with spur trigger; sharp profiles, clear address & markings; 75% blue finish remains with losses to back strap & forward of the trigger; silver grey patina to cylinder; exc one pc walnut grips; gwo & vg+ cond. Presented in its orig London style oak case missing lid escutcheon & key; Colt trade label to lid; partitioned & lined in green baize with turn screw, Colt iron mould, Eley cap tin & Dixon & Sons bag flask; g. cond o/a. C.1856.
