  A Rare South Australian Nepabunna Parrying Shield c1931
  hardwood shield with solid cut handle and convex surface decorated with beautifully carved native animals in relief against a background of incised patterning. The shield's edge is decorated with a border of finely incised decoration. Traditional designs are finely incised on the obverse. Bears an old patina and remnant varnish.
