  The design shows the influence of CHRISTOPHER DRESSER, who designed for both Heath and Stevens & Williams. The top also bearing an engraved armorial crest for the PHILLIPS and LECHMERE families with the motto (translation) “The Love Of My Country Leads Me On”,
