  The image Haring created for Geoff, incorporates several of his favourite elements: the spaceship emitting a laser beam, which appears to be making the figures below dance, or gyrate. Is the central character about to be sucked into the spaceship and disappear? A delightful example of Haring’s quirky and playful approach to his art making. Geoffrey Burke treasured this piece as a memento of Haring’s time in Melbourne, during which they worked together and formed a strong friendship.
