  between numb.2012 and 2193: plenty of interesting content incl. issue 2012 (Feb.26, 1685) with a notification of alterations to the Book of Common Prayer in relation to prayers dedicated to the new King (James II); issue 2013 (Mar.2, 1685) records addresses made to King James II acknowledging sorrow at the death of Charles II and joy at the succession, other March issues contain dedications of loyalty to the new King; issue 2073 (Sep.28) records that John Hambden has been charged with treason for conspiracy against the King; issue 2073 (Sep.28) advertising a reward for the return of an escaped negro boy to Madam Brooking; issue 2103 (Jan.11) with a report from Warsaw of a Council of War meeting to prepare for a new campaign against Turks in April, issue 2136 reports that Grinling Gibbons and Parry Walton have been granted permission by the King to sell their artwork; issue 2193 (Nov.22, 1686) reports of severe storms (the St Martin flood) in Netherlands with hundreds of people drowned; many other issues have notable content, along with the usual declarations, announcements, and advertisements.
