Lot Description:A Sepik Mask c. 1941-1955
of wood decorated with polychrome pigments, clay set shells, pierced eyes and mouth, with protruding tongue, the septum with sennit fibre tassel and outer rim also pierced at lower section, and decorated with cane and fibre tassels, PNG, 50cm. -
