• Notes:
  This is the last painting Leo Bensemann worked on before his death in January, 1986. Leoâs last letter to his daughter dated September 1985 refers to this painting: "The doctor is a fine chap, very gentlemanly and always politely enquires after my painting. I told him yesterday I was busy working on a masterpiece and I think I may be right - ha! He wanted to know what it was all about and I said 'Takaka in the rain'."
