Lot Description:A fine quality 19thC French gilt bronze two-handled tazza by Henri Picard
modelled in the manner of a Grecian kylix (wine cup) relief decorated with flowers and leaves. Diameter 150. Impressed maker's marks to base of foot. -
Notes:Picard, a Parisian based bronze founder and gilder, c.1831 ñ 1864, supplied services for the work on the apartments of the Emperor Napoléon III, now exhibited in the Louvre Museum, Paris.
