Lot Description:A Rare Pair of Green Jade Zoomorphic Pendants, Late Shang Dynasty (1200-1100 BCE)
each pendant appears to have been carved from the same section of jade, and represents a stylised crouching animal with a long tail (possibly a tiger), the semi-translucent stone with calcification to the lower extremities and drilled with five tiny holes for attachment; fitted box
7.2 cm high, 8.5 cm wide -
