Lot Description:A Rare Pair of Equestrian Figures, Western Han, 2nd-1st Century BCE
brightly decorated with original mineral pigments, the detachable riders wearing long decorative robes, each horse with apertures where the wooden legs and the ears would have been and beautifully painted with saddle and harness, the pigments are in excellent condition
23 cm high, 28 cm wide (horses); 26 cm high (figure) -
